American IDC gets SMART!

HOLLYWOOD, CA, March 1st, 2005

American IDC Corporation’s (OTC:ACNI:PK) American IDC today, has entered into a consulting agreement with Smart Entertainment, a leading consultancy and advertising firm. The contract, which was signed last Friday in Los Angeles, allows American IDC to use the SMART team and their many years of experience, as part of American IDC.
“SMART will, from today, be a big part of American IDC operations. This is another great day for SMART and American IDC,” says Halldor Sanne, CEO and Founder of SMART.”

The main focus will be on mobile marketing campaigns, ‘SMS’, and new revenue generating services where American IDC can utilize the recently purchased SMART Technology to access and bill over 170 million mobile users in the US alone.
Smart Entertainment was established in Europe in 2000. The firm has been a pioneer in introducing mobile marketing to the world. The focus and success were in Europe until last year, when American mobile phone users were finally able to use the handset to purchase content and play games through their mobile phone. A few of SMART’s clients worldwide include the Coca-Cola company, where SMART created a bottle for Coke implementing an “Idol” campaign where over 280,000 Coca Cola consumers in a population of 300,000 (92,000 unique numbers) played an instant SMS game to win a ticket to the final show of “Idol”. SMART created an award-winning campaign for Beck’s beer in 2003, and has done hundreds of Premium movie campaigns around major movie premieres worldwide. In the last weeks SMART has established consultancies and working agreements with some major players in the US: Larry Klein, an executive producer for ABC—he produces the American Music Awards and The Tsunami Relief show on NBC earlier this year; Martin Moore, a Def Jam artist manager; Monkeysee Monkeydo, a product placement company focused on entertainment marketing with clients like the Golden Globe Awards, The Radio Music Awards, and more.
